Of the three children who were vaccinated on March 5 at Greenland Hospital in Karim Nagar, Gorakhpur, the third newborn also died after 12 days on Friday. He was being treated at BRD Medical College. On the information of the death, the police swung into action and took the dead body into custody. Postmortem will be done on Saturday.
In this case, the relatives of the newborn have once again accused BRD Medical College’s Gynecologist and Obstetrician Dr. Sudhir Gupta of being negligent and the hospital administration for giving wrong injections.
The wife of Vineet Singh, a resident of Raptinagar Phase-IV, gave birth on March 4 at Greenland Hospital. The next day the newborn was given oral polio vaccine, BCG and hepatitis vaccine along with two other children.

After the vaccination, the condition of the newborn deteriorated and he fainted. It is being told that at the same time the color of his body had turned blue. The relatives admitted him to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of the Department of Pediatrics of BRD Medical College for treatment, where he was undergoing treatment since March 5. He died during treatment.
Meanwhile, the relatives also consulted many private doctors of the city for treatment, but even after this he could not survive. On Friday evening, the BRD administration declared the innocent dead. Along with the BRD administration, the relatives also informed the police about this.
