Parvez Parvaz’s accomplice Jumman, who was serving the sentence of gang rape of a woman, died of illness in the medical college. He was arrested by the police in the gang incident in the year 2018 and in the year 2020, the court sentenced him to life imprisonment in this case.
It was Parvez Parvaz who had filed a case of hate speech against CM Yogi Adityanath (when he was an MP) from the court, which was later dismissed.
According to the information, Mahmood alias Jumman (68), a resident of Turkmanpur under Rajghat police station, and his accomplice Parvez Parvaz, a woman had lodged a case of gang-rape at Rajghat police station.
According to jail officials, Jumman was admitted to BRD Medical College on Thursday morning after his health deteriorated, where he died during treatment.
