Warriorz couldn’t have chosen a worse time to face the Mumbai side, which is unbeaten and is on a 5-match winning streak, especially having come off a loss to a side, which was on a five-match losing streak.

After a win in their campaign-opening game against the Gujarat Giants, UP Warriorz ‘ journey has taken a downward slide as the Alyssa Healy-led side has won just one out of the next four games in the inaugural edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL). Now in what could be their campaign-defining win, the Warriorz wouldn’t have chosen a worse time to face the Mumbai Indians . Mumbai will start favourites given their performances and how they have bulldozed sides but looking at Delhi Capitals’ result against the Gujarat Giants, no team can be taken lightly in this tournament and Harmanpreet Kaur and Co. can’t get complacent, given there’s a chance to get straight into the final is to be had.
