On Saturday, the police personnel present there saved the young man who had come to Aligarh railway station with the intention of committing suicide by standing in the middle of the railway tracks. A video of the incident went viral on social media on Saturday.
It is seen in this video that a young man in an inebriated state was standing in the middle of the railway tracks between platform number two-three of the railway station to commit suicide. Rajdhani Express was about to pass shortly, when some police personnel deployed at the railway station pulled the young man onto the platform without wasting time.
A few seconds later, the Rajdhani Express train passed from there. GRP Inspector Subodh Kumar told that the young man was in a state of intoxication, when he regained consciousness, his relatives were called and handed over.
