Preparations have been started for the 88th convocation of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University. April 14 has been given as the proposed date for conducting the convocation ceremony of the university from Raj Bhavan. This day is also the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.

The convocation will be organized by the university administration for the students who have passed out in the academic session 2021-22. This convocation should have happened last year itself but could not happen due to various reasons. Now after giving the proposed date from the Raj Bhavan, the university administration has started preparations. Responsibilities have been given by forming committees.

Apart from the organizing committee, reception, invitation letter and guest coordination committee, eligibility determination and movable Vaijayanti maintenance committee, stage decoration committee, discipline and pass arrangement committee, food arrangement committee, auditorium arrangement committee etc. have been constituted. Apart from the coordinator, co-coordinator, members are also kept in each committee.

University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ashu Rani said that according to the proposed date given by the Raj Bhavan, preparations have been started for the convocation ceremony. The date of the ceremony will be duly announced after the meeting of Academic Council and Working Council. The work of preparing the list of medal holders has been started. After the list is prepared, objections will be sought by issuing it.
